We are a Charity of Choice for Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink!

The Calgary Police Foundation is honored to be chosen as one of the participating charities in the Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink program! BFK is a fundraising initiative that provides Alberta charities with the opportunity to solicit donations and receive additional funding of up to 50%! Participating charities will receive 100% of every donation collected on their behalf as all administrative costs are covered by the Shaw Charity Classic tournament.

 

Make your donation go further by donating through Birdies for Kids!

The most exciting part of Birdies for Kids is the matching pool! Every donation made through the Birdies for Kids program will be matched by up to 50% which means that every dollar raised will make an even greater impact on the lives of at-risk youth in our communities! If you are interested in donating to the Calgary Police Foundation, please consider doing so through Birdies for Kids. 

Donations can be made by cash, cheque or credit card (VISA or MC). Donations can be made online or by mailing your donation to the address below. Please make all cheques payable to Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation with Calgary Police Foundation in the memo line. Donations will be accepted until Sunday, September 1st, 2019 at 11:59:59 PM MT.

Shaw Charity Classic

The Shaw Charity Classic is an annual PGA Tour Champions golf tournament held at the Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club in Calgary, Alberta. This year, the 54 hole tournament will take place from August 28 – September 1, 2019. Tickets to the tournament can be purchased here

For six straight years, the Shaw Charity Classic has set a record for charitable giving on the PGA Tour Champions. In 2018, the tournament raised a record breaking $12.9 million for over 180 participating Alberta charities. This year, they hope to set a new record as they continue to support charities across the province!
