2020 Canine Calendar Launch

Join Calgary Chief of Police Mark Neufeld, Sergeant Jim Gourley of the Calgary Police Service Canine Unit, Gillian Bowerman, Manager Youth and Child Wellness Section CPS, Calgary Police Foundation Executive Director Susan Cron, and the CPF team, as the CPS Canine Unit proudly launches its 2020 Canine Heroes Calendar.

The launch will feature a live demonstration by the Calgary Police Service Canine Unit and is the first opportunity for the public to purchase the 2020 calendar!

The CPS Canine Unit, in partnership with the Calgary Police Foundation, proudly presents the beautiful and popular 13-month wall calendar which is now in its seventh year of production. The Canine dogs, alongside their handlers, put their lives on the line every day to keep Calgarians safe. They truly are heroes to all of us and we recognize and honour them with this campaign.

The campaign not only gives us an opportunity to showcase our Canine Heroes, it helps the Calgary Police Foundation raise vital dollars for impactful programs that help Calgary’s youth avoid crime and victimization. All programs delivered by the Calgary Police Service focus on providing education, early intervention, and prevention strategies that protect our youth from negative influences and drivers in their lives.
